Where is Forecastle?
The 10th Anniversary of Forecastle Festival will take place at Waterfront Park, part of a scenic, $60 million dollar riverfront investment by the City of Louisville, which attracts 1.5 million visitors a year.
What does VIP include?
The centrally located VIP area is an elevated portion of Waterfront Park situated directly between the two main stages. The area offers impeccable views of the festival grounds, main stage, second stage, downtown and the Ohio River. These tickets are available in very limited quantities. Do you allow re-entry?
Those visitors with a 3-day weekend pass will have re-entry privileges.
Do you offer camping?

What’s the deal with the late-night after parties?
We will offer a variety of after-hours experiences that will appeal to all different musical tastes. These events are separately ticketed and the details will be announced in the coming months. Capacity for these events is very limited, so be sure to make plans early. Stay tuned.
What can I bring?
To make sure you have everything you’ll need while aboard the ship, please feel free to bring the following items with you:
- Sun block
- Blankets, sheets and towels
- Backpacks and purses
- Empty camelback
REMEMBER: All travelers and their belongings are subject to search and prohibited items will be removed at the discretion of the front gate and security staff.
What should I leave at home?
We make every effort to provide an environment where all travelers can fully enjoy their time aboard the ship. With that in mind, kindly leave these items at home:
- Weapons
- Food and Drink
- Alcohol
- Illegal substances of any kind
- Coolers
- Lawn chairs
- Lasers
- Glow sticks
- Pets (Service Dogs will be permitted)
- Glass Containers and Metal Aerosol Cans, including Sunscreen in Aerosol Cans
- Scooters or Personal Motorized Vehicles
- Professional recording equipment
- Detachable lens camera
- Audio recording equipment
- Video recording equipment
- No unauthorized vendors will be permitted. No solicitations, handbills, sampling, give-aways, etc.

Where should I park?
There is plenty of street parking and many open lots near Waterfront Park. Please click here for a map of parking lots, or visit our Transport page. Pay attention to signage and park only in areas where public parking is permitted. The Forecastle Festival is not responsible if your vehicle is towed.
We also encourage you to ride your bike! It reduces your carbon footprint, provides great exercise, and sustainable transport. We will have a bike valet service available for you outside the main gate.

Also, please travel safe and enjoy the festival responsibly. On-premise, there will be cab or City Scoot services available, provided by our spirit partner. We all want to make sure you make it home safely!
Accessibility
We want to make sure that everyone has an equal opportunity to enjoy great music in a beautiful setting. We will make every effort to accommodate to your accessibility needs. Service dogs are always welcome to come aboard Forecastle ship!
Safety and Medical
If you need medical attention, we will have two medic locations on-site. If you can’t make it to the medical tent, grab an event organizer or member of our security staff, and we will assist you.
It’s important to us that everyone take good care of themselves while aboard the great Forecastle ship! Please make sure to eat good healthy foods and drink lots of water! All that dancing can take a lot out of you, so take a break if you don’t feel well.
