EDUCATION
The Foundation will serve as an educational platform for schools and businesses to learn about sustainability and conservation. At the Forecastle Festival, the Foundation oversees the “Environmental Activism” pillar of the festival. This includes:
1. Showcasing the global work of The Forecastle Foundation – countries, projects, partners
2. Developing stationary and mobile activations with educational programming
3. Working with musicians, artists, and festival participants to highlight sustainability efforts
4. Capturing our efforts in film and audio for future release
CONSERVATION
We have targeted the most critical “hot spot” habitats and now need your help to preserve them. Become part of The Forecastle Foundation, and we will contribute to up to three zones per year. We will work with internationally-renowned non-profit organizations such as Conservation International, World Wildlife Fund, and others involved with the projects we select. You will stay constantly updated and engaged on the project, through quarterly reports and a chance to visit the hot zones with the board of the Forecastle Foundation.
FUNDRAISING
The Forecastle Foundation will host numerous events throughout the year to raise awareness about our mission, and recruit new members to our “Forecastle Traveler” program. This includes:

2. Festivals
3. Community Events
