LODGING
The Galt House is the “Official Hotel and Headquarters” of the 9th annual event. Located on festival grounds, The Galt House is Louisville’s only Waterfront Hotel, offering magnificent views of the Ohio River, Forecastle, and Downtown Louisville. A cornerstone of Southern hospitality since 1835, The Galt House is one of the largest hotels in the region with six hundred spacious suites, seven hundred guest rooms, and over fifty meeting rooms. The hotel also features a bourbon bar, fitness center, pool with tiki bar, and rooftop flagship restaurant with sweeping vistas of the skyline and waterfront. A balcony room in the West Tower offers aerial views of Forecastle.

CAMPING
The historic American Turners will be the official campgrounds of 2009. Less than (5) miles from festival grounds on the banks of the Ohio River, American Turners offers an array of amenities to Forecastle travelers, including:

- Organic Food Vendors
- Shuttle Bus to Forecastle
- Riverfront VIP Accommodations
To guarantee a space, we recommend reserving early. Forecastle will establish a unique camping experience offering activites such as swimming, tennis, horseshoe, badminton, and basketball ~ all in a wonderful riverfront location. There is a *limited number* of gated VIP spots available on the 12-acre property, which includes special privileges and a PRIME SPOT in the morning shade, right on the banks of the river. Rumor has it, that’s where certain bands will stay, too…
