We are now accepting submissions for Forecastle 2012!

Do you want the opportunity to showcase your talent to Forecastle attendees from all across the US and countries near and far? In 2010, 20 percent of our line-up consisted of local and regional artists, so don’t be scared, follow the steps below to show your work!

How can my band perform at The Forecastle Festival?

Your band can perform by submitting an electronic press kit. Please send yours to music@forecastlefest.com. Please include the name of your band in the subject line. Deadline for submissions is March 5, 2012. After-party and kick-off submissions should arrive no later than April 30.

Only online submissions will be accepted, so don’t send us snail mail. We’re trying to save some trees here people!

When will I hear back?

Selected musicians will be notified by May 1, 2012. You will only hear from us if you’ve been selected to play.

What kind of music are you looking for?

We love and welcome original music of all kinds. Leave the cover material at home. We want to see what skills you’re working with, not what someone else made famous 10 years ago.

Is there a fee to submit my EPK?

Nope. It’s free as a bird.
