How can my band perform at The Forecastle Festival?

Band submissions for the 2012 Festival are now closed. Submissions will reopen for the next festival in January 2013. Your band can perform by submitting an electronic press kit. Please include the name of your band in the subject line. The deadline for Festival submissions has now passed. After-party and kick-off submissions should arrive no later than April 30.

Only online submissions will be accepted, so don’t send us snail mail. We’re trying to save some trees here people!

When will I hear back?

Selected musicians will be notified by May 1, 2012. You will only hear from us if you’ve been selected to play.

What kind of music are you looking for?

We love and welcome original music of all kinds. Leave the cover material at home. We want to see what skills you’re working with, not what someone else made famous 10 years ago.

Is there a fee to submit my EPK?

Nope. It’s free as a bird.
