How can I become a featured artist at The Forecastle Festival?

Artists are selected by a group of regional curators, based upon a different theme we select each year. Below is the 2010 exhibition theme. The 2012 will be announced soon. Exhibition Theme (2010)

H2U: Water is the basis of our existence, sustaining life while continually shaping our environment. Water is the most vital natural resource on Earth, its quality and access the most important environmental issue of our time.

Winning Designs

The Forecastle Festival will select (10) artists to create an environmental installation in accordance with the exhibition theme. Winning artists will recieve a $1000 grant to create the approved design, and have it ready to install by the festival this July.

Do you accept digital submissions?

Yes, it is the preferred method. You may submit up to (3) designs to: info@forecastlefest.com. Please include $10 payment via paypal.com, by clicking the button below. Files accepted in .jpeg and .gif formats, no more than 15 megs.
