Halfway to Forecastle
Prepare to dance. The Forecastle Festival will host the 3rd annual “Halfway to Forecastle” mini-fest January 23rd at “The Pointe” in Louisville, KY. The event will feature an all-electronic music line-up for the first time in the festival’s history, with artists performing on three stages inside The Pointe: A 90,000 square ft former industrial warehouse converted into a modern green building. In addition to music, the event will feature a nautically-themed fashion show, light and laser shows, live graffiti artists, ice sculptures, break dancing, poster signings, and more.

An evening silent auction and raffle will be held for signed merchandise, signed poster from artist Jeff Gaither, a copy of DJ Hero, and a pair of VIP and after-party passes to the 2010 Forecastle Festival. All proceeds will benefit The Surfrider Foundation ~ an environmental non-profit dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the world’s beaches and oceans through conservation, activism, research, and education.
